About

Hi! I’m Mira Manunta, professional food photographer, food stylist and recipe developer with 10+ years of experience in the field.

My work principle

I showcase and photograph food and products in a way that immediately whets the appetite of the viewer. Personally, I don’t like overly artistic/cluttered styles where the colors and decorative elements of the photo take center stage at the expense of the actual subject of the photo. Instead, I make all styling and compositional decisions during photography based on emphasizing the food itself as much as possible.

In my images, the subject of the photo almost “jumps out”, thereby making it accessible to the viewer. Simply put: in order to make a food/drink/product sell, I work to find the golden mean between lifelikeness and aesthetics.

I started my career as a food photographer in 2015, when I decided to start a food blog. At that time, the photos were taken with my iPhone, and within a few months I bought my first Canon camera and fell in love with the art of photography.

Why work with me?

I am a proactive, precise and detail-oriented person. I make the most out of every project I work on. I deliver all my work on time.

Where are the photos taken?

I work in my home studio and on location anywhere within Hungary (and sometimes Europe). I bring all the relevant equipment with me for on-site photography, so the client doesn’t have to do anything extra or spend anything.

I use these softwares most often

Adobe Lightroom and Canva
